PA Day Feb. 1 Reminder

This is a reminder that Friday, Feb. 1 is a PA Day. There is no school for students. It is a professional learning day for teachers. This is the last PA Day until the end of the school year.

Thank You for Using Inform

Today our new attendance system went live. We’d like to thank everyone who used the system today to call in absences and lates. Using this new automated system greatly reduced the ‘calling time’, actually several hours on a snow day, that Mrs. Webster and Ms Chan devoted to verifying absences. It was a good day to begin Inform!

Grandview Rink is Open.

Hi Folks

Thanks to the heroic work of our local volunteers in this brutally cold weather, once again we have a rink ready for action.

Please remember that especially for young people we strongly recommend wearing a helmet. Also, please take a little extra care since this early in the season there may still be some rough or bumpy patches of ice.

This is also an opportunity to spread the word that the annual neighbourhood skating party will take place on February 10th.  There will be more information coming but for now, save the date, so you don’t miss a great time.
